Pickens' Energy Plan Getting National Attention
Pickens says he's had more than 5 million visits to his Web site. And he plans to spend $44 million to advertise the Pickens Plan, which promotes wind power and natural gas.

Pickens drives a natural-gas-powered Honda Civic. He says there are 8 million vehicles in the world on natural gas but only 142,000 in the U.S.
Pickens is a 1951 graduate of Oklahoma State University's geology program. He's given $400 million to his alma mater.
