Law Officers WILL Go to Louisiana After All OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (kccu-fm) - The 20 Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers who were going to Louisiana but were recalled are now headed back to Louisiana.

Louisiana officials had canceled a request for help but OHP Captain Chris West says they've changed their minds again and the Oklahoma troopers turned around to go to Louisiana.

The 20 troopers are part of an emergency response team and will go to Gonzales, Louisiana.

West says the troopers had gotten as far as Gainesville, Texas, when they were re-activated. © Copyright 2009, kccu-fm
