The importance of vision on the ability of children and adults to read, learn, and progress in life will be the focus of the Oklahoma Health Equity Campaign's first meeting of the year. Guest speaker, Carolanne Roach, OD, whose career has focused on vision training/therapy, pediatric vision care, acquired/traumatic brain injury vision care and low vision rehabilitation, will lead the discussion on how vision develops in infants, the components of vision that affects reading in school-age children and symptoms related to those conditions and conditions that affect reading in the older population.
