Tuesday, February 26th, Fain Presbyterian Church at 2201 Speedway in Wichita Falls will host a lecture/luncheon for folks in the community who are interested in learning more about progress in assisting the abandoned children in Romanian orphanages. Ms Liz Searles, a commissioned missionary from Iowa, who has been newly selected to serve in Romania in capacity-building for the NOROC Foundation [New Opportunities for Romanian Orphanage Children], a Christ-based foundation devoted to nurturing the abandoned children of Romania and to aiding adult, ethnic Roma. The event will be from noon to one-o’clock at Fain Presbyterian Church in Fellowship Hall. The meal will be soup, cornbread, and dessert. There will be a nominal fee and reservations are required.
