CRESTED BUTTE, CO (kbut) - The Gunnison Board of County Commissioners voted Tuesday to approve the special area regulations for the subdivision, capping a nearly 5 year process and bringing it one step closer to autonomy. Proponents of a proposed commercial and residential area south of Crested Butte on SH 135 known as Whetstone park, got the county commissioners' consent to go ahead to submit a final plan for the project to the planning commission. © Copyright 2009, kbut
