Elk Mountain Grand Traverse CRESTED BUTTE, CO (kbut) - The Elk Mountain Grand Traverse race start is this Friday at midnight at the Town Ranch behind the Crested Butte Community School.

Come on over tio cheer your favorite racers over the passes to Aspen. The spectacular race start and the parade of lights as the recers ski towards Mt. Crested Butte is a memorable sight. Well worth staying up for! The racers will finish in the City of Aspen at the Gondola early the next morning
