Door to home wind turbines may be opening GUNNISON, CO (kbut) - Gunnison County is preparing to become a friendlier place for residents wishing to install private wind turbines to provide power for their homes. Currently, residential properties in the county can not have any structures that exceed 30 feet. This restriction virtually wipes out the possibility of having an effective wind turbine.
