MU students will gather outside Jesse Hall tonight at 7:00 for a spirit rally in conjunction with the MU Athletics and the Mizzou Alumni Association. The rally is a prelude to the Thursday night football gaime agaist Nebraska. The rally will feature appearances by Gary Pinkel, as well as football players and Marching Mizzou.
Carrie Bien is the Coordinator of Student Programs for the MAA. She says studnets realize the importance of rallying the team before a big game.
"It's something that the students really wanted to do," Bien says. "They actually approached the football team first about being able to have this spirit rally. The football players really liked it as well."
The rally will take place tonight at 7:00 byt the south steps of Jesse Hall.
