The Missouri Regional Life Sciences Summit opened on Monday with a pep talk from MU Chancellor Brady Deaton. The University of Missouri Kansas City is hosting the two-day event, which brings together life sciences experts from Missouri, Kansas and Iowa. Deaton says the university and its regional counterparts can't afford to miss out on what he believes will be major advancements in bio-technology."As I look out at all of you, I'm looking into the faces and hearing the voices of the future.
