A University of Missouri student wants to change how parking spaces are assigned on campus. Missouri Students Association president Tim Noce says parking assignments should be based on seniority. He says the current system skews too heavily in favor of underclassmen students who live on campus.
"What I'm looking to kind of change in there is instead of just having residence hall members get that first block, it would be all students for the parking garages around campus."
Noce says a seniority-based system would help alleviate some of the congestion coming from students who live off campus. The Residence Hall Association is working on a proposal to align past procedures with the proposed revisions.
