A familiar face at Truman State University is taking on a new role. Truman announced today that Vice-Provost and Vice- President of Academic Affairs Troy Paino (pay-NO) will become the new President of Truman in May."I am honored to be given this opportunity to lead this great university into the next decade."
Paino was among 66 people who applied for the position after Barbara Dixon resigned last year. Before working at Truman State University he was the dean of the college of liberal arts at Winona State University in Minnesota. He will start his new job on May 10th.
