A group of 11 and 12-year-olds from Columbia will be competing on the international level in the Little League World Series. Columbia's team beat Bloomfield, Iowa 2 to nothing on Saturday. Columbia won all six of its Midwest regional games to move on to the World Weries in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. It's only the second time a Missouri team has made it to the pool of 8 American teams vying to face the winner of the 8-team international division. Columbia's first game in the world series is this Friday, at 7pm against Lake Charles, Louisiana. The game will be televised on ESPN.
