Columbia City Manager Bill Watkins says the city will continue to investigate the role a traffic light played in last month's car accident that killed a woman at the intersection of Forum and Chapel Hill Roads. Lois Papen died as she was making a left turn onto Forum Boulevard and was hit by an oncoming car. Watkins says he is asking the police and public works departments to review the incident and look at the costs and timelines of updating the city's traffic lights.
