Nixon Fights Bridge Trial Transfer

The Missouri Supreme Court is considering a last-minute appeal by Attorney General Jay Nixon on where to hear a lawsuit involving an old railroad bridge in Boonville. Nixon is asking the court to not transfer the trial venue from Cooper County, where the bridge is located, to Cole Count.A judge ordered the case moved to Cole County, where most lawsuits involving the state are handled.
