The malfunction at the Callaway Nuclear Plant back in December will be covered at a meeting tonight between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Ameren U.E. Earlier this month, The NRC issued findings that the December malfunction had a one in 100-thousand chance of leaking radiation into the environment.
Tonight the two sides will also discuss safety and plant performance during the last nine months of 2001. The meeting will be held in Jefferson City at the Capitol Plaza Hotel at 7 o'clock tonight and is open to the public. © Copyright 2012, KBIA
