Columbia residents can provide input on proposed bus route changes at a meeting at a public hearing tonight. City of Columbia spokesperson Jill Stedem says one of the changes could include new routes to major businesses. "We have put a plan in place that we feel addresses one of the major needs, which is reaching some of the major employers in Columbia."
After problems with bus delays, officials hope the changes will provide more efficiency for riders.
"We're looking at adding a lot more bus stops to the system and kind of revamping some of the places that we are currently going to, or some other routes that we're currently taking."
The meeting is from 6:30 to 8 tonight at City Hall
