The Missouri men's basketball team leaves this afternoon from Mizzou Arena for Glendale, Arizona and its regional-semifinal-game against Memphis Thursday.
The team may be learning why they call this time of year March Madness.
The Tigers arrived back from Boise, Idaho and their 2nd round victory over Marquette about 3 o'clock yesterday morning Then after a short rest...it was back to work, the Tigers practicing and meeting with the press yesterday.
In spite of the rushed schedule, Tigers head coach Mike Anderson and the tiger players haven't forgotten that at this time last year, basketball had already come to a disappointing end.
At a press conference yesterday, Coach Anderson said the team has had a turnaround.
Should they beat Memphis on Thursday, Mizzou takes on the winner of the game between Connecticut and Purdue for a trip to the Men's Final Four in Detroit.
The Final Four of the N-C-A-A women's tournament will be in St. Louis.
