(kbc) - The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded $64 million to Alaska tribal organizations and villages for affordable housing. A mining company hopes to launch operations for copper, gold, zinc, and silver mine on Prince of Wales Island in 2015 - admitting that's an optimistic projection.
