Hammel on Trial live at KNBA
Ed Hammel, better known as 'Hammel on Trial', visited the KNBA studios April 3, 2009. Listen here for the interview hosted by KNBA's Jennifer Canfield. Hamell On Trial is the one-man band of Ed Hamell from Syracuse, New York. Hamell typically describes his style semi-ironically as punk rock. Righteous Babe Records explains the use of the term as "loud, fast music informed by politics, passion, energy and intelligence, played by a guy with a sharp tongue and a wicked sense of humor". Other frequent labels include "Punk acoustic" and "anti-folk". Ed was brought to Anchorage through Whistling Swan Productions.
