Land use plan is slow going in Monterey County PACIFIC GROVE, CA (kazu) - Last June, Monterey County voters were asked to choose between two visions for land use. They rejected both the County Supervisor's General Plan Update 4 and LandWatch Monterey County's Initiative. Now, a subcommittee of the county planning commission is developing a new plan.
