Angelique Zuluaga, a soprano, will be presented in recital with a reception to follow the performance. Ms. Zuluaga will perform with pianist, Gwendolyn Mok.
During her acclaimed performances with the Carmel Bach Festival Angelique Zuluaga was a featured soloist for five seasons. Angelique has performed early music, opera, oratorio and contemporary music throughout the United States and South America, and frequently collaborates with composers in new works. She began her musical training in Cali, Colombia at the Universidad Del Valle and holds advanced degrees in voice and early music from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
Gwendolyn Mok, piano Currently the Coordinator of Keyboard Studies at San Jose State University School of Music and Dance, Gwendolyn Mok received her musical training at Juilliard School of Music, Yale University, and received her doctorate from the State University of New York. She has appeared in the world's leading concert halls and with major orchestras. She is a distinguished specialist in the music of Maurice Ravel.
