Monterey, CA – The Monterey Institute of International Studies presents the Spring 2013 Sustainability Speaker Series, featuring local and national environmental leaders speaking on current issues including the environmental impact of conflict in Afghanistan, making solar energy affordable, Monterey Peninsula water management and California coastal preservation efforts. The series is sponsored by the Institute’s Master of Arts in International Environmental Policy program, and is supported by a generous grant from the Homer Hayward Family.
