Have fun with fungi! Become a mushroom expert as you explore the Museum and see how mushrooms can be more than just delicious food! Bring in wild mushrooms you’ve found hiking or in your own backyard to have them identified by experts from Santa Cruz’s Fungus Federation. There will be mushrooms to taste, fungi crafts, and mushroom science experiments for guests of all ages. Join us for drop-in activities all day between 11:00am and 3:00pm. It’s also Sandy the Whale’s 30th Birthday! Join us at 1:00pm for cake as we wish Sandy a happy birthday. |
