ASU's women's history month events continue with a program on “Women’s History, Health, and Reproductive Rights,” featuring award-winning author and historian Dr. Rickie Solinger who will speak on “Choice vs. Reproductive Justice: Which is Better for Women?”

Following Dr. Solinger will be a panel discussion featuring Dr. Solinger, Dr. Idonia Trotter (Executive Director of Arkansas Minority Health Commission), Dr. Cathy Young (ASU Director of Nurse Practitioner Program), and Ms. Vicki Crego (Women's Crisis Center of Northeast Arkansas). Dr. Sarah Wilkerson Freeman (ASU professor of History) will moderate.

The free event, open to the public, is hosted by ASU’s Women and Gender Studies faculty with major sponsorship provided by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Office of Diversity Initiatives and co-sponsored by The Department of History, The College of Nursing and Health Professions, and The Department of Political Science.
