About JYPN Jonesboro Young Professionals Network is an organization designed to create networking and educational opportunities, support community involvement and promote an overall investment in the future of Jonesboro and Northeast Arkansas. The goal of JYPN is to cultivate young, talented and educated professionals in Northeast Arkansas as future executives and leaders in our community. JYPN was founded by the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Network Committee as an organization for professionals ages 21-39. Conference Mission Complete leaders are professional, dedicated and civic-minded people who have a clear vision for making their communities great places to live and work. Participating in professionals groups strengthens the bonds that members have with their cities and towns and increases the chances that they will stay and contribute to future growth and success. The Leadership Conference is an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals with similar interests, concerns and overall goals for the future of Arkansas. The conference is intended to foster and develop leadership skills with other professionals in the region. The event will include local community leaders as speakers, networking events and social activities, all promoting interaction between attendees. Conference Information The Leadership Conference will be held at the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, March 13th. The conference sessions will consist of topics relating to mental health, social media, community service, entrepreneurship, leadership traits and team building. There will be a pre-conference social and silent auction benefiting the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas on the evening of March 12th featuring hors d’oeuvres, networking, and entertainment. Projected Attendance The conference planning committee projects attendance of 80-90 attendees including members of the Jonesboro Young Professionals Network in addition to other professionals in the region. |
