What's New and Important in Osteoporosis - presented by Thomas Mulligan, M.D. Program will be held at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, 900 W. Kingshighway in Paragould.
This program will describe the pathophysiology of osteoporosis, discuss the prevention and treatment options for osteoporosis and list ways to manage osteoporotic patients with serious comorbidities (e.g. chronic kidney disease). 1 hour CME credit is offered by St. Bernards Medical Center through the Louisiana State Medical Society. Nursing CNE's will be offered via the Center on Aging-NE. Longterm care, pharmacy and physical therapy credits are also available. This activity is supported by an educational donation provided by Amgen.
