For Immediate Release
Emergency Closure Announced For Foxfire & Stonebrook
Collapse of a culvert and pavement at Foxfire Drive south of Fairfax to
Stonebrook
has prompted emergency closure of that roadway to make repairs to the
triangular area impacted. Repairs are expected to be completed June 29, but
dates are tentative depending on weather and contractor issues.
Work zones will be set up to close the intersection of Foxfire between the
south side of Fairfax to the triangular area where Stonebrook begins at the
entrance to the Woodcreek subdivision. Traffic entering Woodcreek or Foxfire
subdivisions should use Woodcreek Drive at Hwy 6, Bird Pond Dr. at Frost
Dr., or Rock Prairie at Stonebrook entrances.
The public is urged to pay attention to directions being given at the work
zones to be very attentive to heavy trucks and equipment moving in and out
of those areas. Caution should be observed at all times.
No business access is affected. Emergency services of the City and the
College Station Medical Center have been notified.
