Meet the Candidates Forum 2007 COLLEGE STATION, TX (kamu) - April 19, 2007, 7:00 PM:

This live forum, in partnership with the League of Women Voters, will feature candidates in contested races for places on the City Councils of both College Station and Bryan. Dr. Sharon Colson, Asst. Director, KAMU-TV, will moderate the forum.

Candidates will be questioned by a panel of three:
   * Mike Fleming, 3M Corp., Ret., and
      temporary morning news anchor, WTAW
   * Dr. Alma Fonseca, County Extension Agent
   * Hugh Stearns, Owner, Stearns Construction,
      Inc.

The forum will be conducted in the studios of KAMU-TV:
   Studio A. in Moore Communications Center
   Houston St. at George Bush Dr.
   Texas A&M University
   College Station, TX

A Reporters' Table will be available in the studio for observation. Only the panel will question the candidates and no other observers will be permitted in the studio. This live presentation can be seen on Broadcast Channel 15, Cable Channel 4, High Definition Channel 12 and simulcast on KAMU-FM Radio (90.9) at 7 PM, April 19, 2007.
