San Francisco Elections 2007
Proposition J
SAN FRANCISCO, CA
(kalw) -
The plan to create a city-wide wi-fi network in San Francisco stalled
this summer when Earthlink backed out of the deal. But now free wireless
internet access is back in the public eye, this time as a ballot measure. In
tomorrow's local election, San Franciscans will vote on Proposition J, a
legally non-binding resolution urging the city to move forward with the
wi-fi plans.
