SFS Special by Host Alan Farley Alan talks with composer and conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen, who is leading the San Francisco Symphony this week in his violin concerto, with soloist Leila Josefowicz, and musicologist Scott Foglesong plays some rare recordings from the Symphony's archive, marking one hundred years to the day since the orchestra gave its first concert.
