Oregon Trail Fire - Rebuilding
Samantha Wright (2008-09-02)
BOISE, ID (idaho) - Survivors of the Oregon Trail Fire in Southeast Boise gathered Tuesday to talk about their lost homes and their neighborhood's future. Pushed by 50 mile an hour winds, the fire flew through the Oregon Trail Heights subdivision, destroying ten homes, damaging nine others, and killing a Boise State Professor. As families talk about rebuilding, the American Red Cross of Greater Idaho offered help to the thirty families affected by last Monday's fire. Sue Robinson is the C-E-O of the American Red Cross of Greater Idaho. Boise State Radio's Samantha Wright asked Robinson what the Red Cross can do now, to help fire victims.

Donations to the Idaho Disaster Relief Fund can be made by calling the Red Cross at 1-800-853-2570.
