Fire Hits Southeast Idaho
Adam Cotterell (2008-08-26)
BOISE, ID (idaho) - A fast-moving wildfire, that burned homes and claimed the life of one woman, has left neighbors in Southeast Boise struggling. The fire started Monday night and quickly destroyed ten homes, while damaging nine others. Fire officials say more than 100 people were evacuated, as residents grabbed loved ones and pets and fled for their lives. One of those neighbors was Jim Baugh. Boise State Radio's Adam Cotterell caught up with Baw Tuesday. Standing in the middle of the devastation, Baw explained what he saw Monday night. © Copyright 2009, idaho
