Boise Komen leadership shake up
Staff (2008-08-25)
BOISE, ID (idaho) - The Boise Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure has a new interim executive director. Linda McGraw will assume leadership. That's after executive director, Mary Guinard was arrested today (Monday) and jailed on embezzlement charges. Police say she stole thousands of dollars from the organizer of Race for the Cure. Guinard is charged with one count of grand theft and one count of forgery. A statement released by the Komen Boise Affiliate says the organization is committed to southwest and central Idaho, the volunteers, the donors and the sponsors that have helped Komen make a difference in the world of breast cancer. The matter has been turned over to the Boise Police Department. © Copyright 2009, idaho
