BOISE, ID (idaho) - Gold medalist Kristin Armstrong is back in Boise. The city's first Olympic gold athlete won the women's road cycling time trial earlier this week in Beijing. This has been quite a ride for Armstrong who got her start as a tri-athlete. It's also been a thrill for her close friend Sarah Barber. The two share more than a decade of friendship. Sarah Barber told Boise State Radio's Sadie Babits she wasn't surprised when Armstrong won gold. But ten years ago, she never thought Olympics were in Kristin Armstrong's future:
