In the writing world, Ron McFarland is a bit of a jack-of-all-trades. He loves to write everything from poetry to literary criticism. That writing has paid off. Ron McFarland has numerous books and he's written thousands of poems. He also has the honor of being Idaho's first Writer in Residence. As we continue our series Art and Soul, Sadie Babits has this profile of a man who's as comfortable on the banks of a river as he is reading his poetry.
