Red Elephants and Blue Dogs BOISE, ID (idaho) - What do you get when you put a red elephant and a blue dog in the same room? Two political figures with surprisingly similar views. At least that was the case on Monday's City Club of Boise. Republican Mike Simpson and Democrat Walt Minnick answered questions from the audience, and as Boise State Radio's Krisi Packer reports, the two have a lot more in common than most lawmakers who are from different sides of the political aisle.
