Faculty and Staff Feel Student's Pain
(2010-03-18)

(idaho) - Fate seems to be looming for college students, teachers, administrators, and anyone else involved in higher education in Idaho. Any day now Idaho lawmakers are expected to finalize their budget for higher ed. That budget includes cuts greater than 14%. The other date with destiny scheduled for higher ed is the first week in April when the State Board of Education approves fee increases for colleges and universities. The University of Idaho is asking for a 12.5% increase, Idaho State 9.9, and BSU wants to do a nine percent increase. As Boise State Radio's Adam Cotterell reports, that is creating stress at every level of the university. © Copyright 2012, idaho
