Dr. Karl Watts says he's tired of providing free health care to the poor. That may seem an unusual statement for Watts. After all the Boise doctor has dedicated much of his career to treating the poor in third world countries and at home in his Garden city community clinic. But Watts says in the United States there should be no need for a charity clinic. That clinics like his exist, is proof the system is broken. This weekend he shared some of his ideas on reform with some of Idaho's most influential citizens including Governor Butch Otter. Watts spoke at the annual Idaho State Prayer Breakfast on Saturday. As Boise state radio's Adam Cotterell reports, Watts opinions on health care reform are practical not political.
