Possible Tuition Hikes Worry Students
Krisi Packer (2009-12-16)
BOISE, ID (idaho) - Since World War II, the American Dream has included a college education. You go to high school, study hard, get into a good college, get a degree, and join the Middle Class! Not so anymore. The fallout from the worst recession in generations may very well mean Middle Class Americans are priced out of getting a college degree. Colleges and universities in Idaho have been given the go-ahead to raise tuition and fees to offset financial holdbacks and budget cuts. As Boise State Radio's Krisi Packer reports students who already work two, or even three jobs to pay for a college degree say tuition hikes hurt the very people universities are set up to serve. © Copyright 2010, idaho
