Former ITD Director Goes Public

Former ITD Director Goes Public
Former ITD Director Pam Lowe
BOISE, ID. (idaho) - The ousted former director of the Idaho Department of Transportation is speaking out publicly; about her termination and the subsequent lawsuit against the State of Idaho. In July, Pam Lowe was fired after serving just over two years as ITD director. She's filed legal action against the state claiming she was terminated because she refused to cave into political pressure involving a major consulting contract. The key players in this legal tug of war include the Connecting Idaho Partners, Idaho Governor Butch Otter, the Idaho Transportation Board, and the Chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee, Senator John McGee of Caldwell. Boise State Radio's Don Wimberly talked with Pam Lowe about the dispute and why she's speaking out © Copyright 2010, idaho
