Boise's City Light Mission for women and children is more than doubling its capacity for the homeless. On an average night, the shelter is filled with many women having to sleep on mats on the floor. Photographer Mark Lisk on Off the Trail
When nationally known photographer Mark Lisk thought about doing a book on Idaho's canyon lands, he started second guessing himself. He feared a glossy coffee table book might encourage too many people to visit this remote desert in southwest Idaho. But he did do the book. It's titled "Idaho Canyonlands." Boise State Radio's Jyl Hoyt stopped by Lisk's gallery in downtown Boise to chat with the photographer--for this week's edition of Off the Trail.
