We are celebrating the recent rains, and our return to life, by inviting Amarillo to come out to Wildcat Bluff Nature Center on Wednesday evenings, from 7:00pm - 9:00pm to enjoy the explosion of wildflowers and lush grasses, together with the abundant wildlife that results.
Come bring the family, bring wine and/or soft drinks, bring lawn chairs, bring snacks, bring instruments, and walk or hike about, staying to enjoy the beautiful sunset. (Or just bring yourself - there will be plenty to share, I am sure). There will likely be activities for kids, maybe a little something educational. Who knows. We are making this up as we go along! For sure there will be good company and the awesome beauty of Wildcat Bluff Nature Center. We'll start in The Gilvin building. Admission is free to members, firefighters, Red Cross volunteers, police officers and armed service personnel. All other adults: $3, over 65s and children over 3: $2.
