Governor Martin O'Malley Faces Tough Financial Future for Maryland
(2009-07-01)
(delmarva) - With Maryland state revenues and a potential budget shortfall of $2 billion by the end of fiscal year next June, Governor Martin O'Malley says further cuts in state services could be on the way. However, he rejects any tax increases to meet the financial crunch. The Governor made his remarks in an exclusive interview with Public Radio Delmarva, while he attended the Maryland Municipal League Convention in Ocean City. © Copyright 2009, delmarva
