Bells on the Hill
Fri, February 14 at 7:00
The birth, growth and legacy of the
Little Italy neighborhood of Wilmington,
Delaware are revealed in this
film. Beginning with accounts of Italians
who migrated to the area in the
early 20th century, this documentary
follows the founding of the St.
Anthony’s church and development
of the community, which still thrives
today. St. Anthony’s Italian Festival
takes place over eight days in June
and draws thousands of people to
the neighborhood. Bells on the Hill is
a memorial to this proud community
and anyone who has ever enjoyed its
atmosphere and ambience.
